When it comes to catering, you can choose to prepare your own meals, or to employ the services of a catering company. Additionally, Hunua Falls Superette is just five minutes away and the Papakura Shopping Centre is 15km away.

Affordable Accomodation

Hunua Falls Camp is laid out to suit the needs of a wide range of visitors, including families, business teams, interest groups and schools. And, best of all, your group has exclusive use of the entire camp for the length of your stay. Campers need to bring their own pillow, bed linen and sleeping bags, cutlery, cups and plates.

  • Twenty two comfortable bunkrooms, heated in winter, twelve sleep up to six people and ten sleep up to four.
  • Separate male and female shower/toilet areas, with covered access from bunkrooms.
  • Full accessible ablution facilities.
  • Our 'cooks' quarters above the kitchen offers three rooms with two beds in each, and its own shower and toilet.
  • First Aid room - sleeps one, no shower & toilet.
  • A small lounge and meeting room, an ideal quiet or private space.
  • Covered walkways throughout.

Activity Structures

The following facilities are available at no extra charge. For safety reasons though, some may only be used under adult supervision. The hall and chapel are known for their excellent acoustics.

  • The large hall and dining area can accommodate everyone; it includes stackable chairs, folding tables, wooden floors and is heated in winter.
  • Our chapel, with a lectern and chairs, seats 100 people.
  • We have a sheltered central courtyard garden, with barbecue and outdoor seating.
  • Our well-designed and carefully maintained confidence course, playground, climbing wall, co-operative challenges area and night-time Burma trail are all very popular.
  • We also have a playing field, goal posts and a volleyball net.
