Welcome! We’re just 50 minutes from downtown Auckland, and the campgrounds are set in a remote forest park setting. With convenience in mind, a stay at Hunua Falls is designed to provide affordable accommodation and outdoor activities for a wide range of groups. Your booking includes exclusive use of the entire property.
We’re centrally-located for all your accommodation needs
We can assure you that you’ll have complete privacy while you stay with us, and - in addition - we have flexible catering and activity options. Hunua Falls Camp caters for up to 122 people at a time. Your booking includes exclusive use of the entire property, so you won’t be interrupted by others. You can choose to prepare your own meals in the commercial-style kitchen and make full use of the onsite activities, or hire professional caterers and adventure operators if you wish. Plenty of onsite parking available with 15 new additional spaces.
Nearby, there are a huge selection of local attractions. Apart from the spectacular Hunua Falls and neighbouring regional park forest, you’ll find plenty of loc destinations to compliment your onsite programme. Favourites include Miranda Hot Pools, Rainbows End theme park, Clevedon Animal Farm, Whitford Park Golf Club and Red Alert Paintball Games.

The physical environment at Hunua Falls Camp has been carefully designed so you can feel like you’re getting away from it all. Your stay will be conducive to helping you enjoy clean, comfortable and well-maintained facilities that work well, while retaining that essential outdoor camping feel.
The commercial-style kitchen, spacious hall, charming chapel, outdoor barbecue area and challenging adventure courses all combine to ensure everyone can find a ‘happy place’ which they will recall for years to come.

Some groups come to be inspired by the waterfalls, or to explore the regional forest park next door. Others find the peaceful, serene setting provides a break from everyday life and opens doors to new opportunities. Whatever your goal is, you’ll find everything you need right here at the camp to ensure everyone has a great time.
Hunua Falls Camp comes with a wide range of activities that are set up, documented and ready to go – all at no extra charge. Our camp manager will be happy to introduce the activities to you and explain any safety requirements.
