A Wide Range of Local Attractions

While you’re staying with us, why not take in some of the local sites too? You can explore the many hiking tracks in Hunua Ranges Regional Park. If you’re wanting to relax, you could take a hot soak at Miranda Hot Springs. We don't have a water slide on site but for an exciting water experience Massey Park Aquatic has swimming pools, spas and a hydro slide. Or, why not explore the local area by horse at Sonshine Ranch? There are many other options in the area for you to enjoy.

We’re centrally-located for all your accommodation needs

We can assure you that you’ll have complete privacy while you stay with us, and - in addition - we have flexible catering and activity options. Hunua Falls Camp caters for up to 122 people at a time. Your booking includes exclusive use of the entire property, so you won’t be interrupted by others. You can choose to prepare your own meals in the commercial-style kitchen and make full use of the onsite activities, or hire professional caterers and adventure operators if you wish.

Nearby, there are a huge selection of local attractions. Apart from the spectacular Hunua Falls and neighbouring regional park forest, you’ll find plenty of loc destinations to compliment your onsite programme. Favourites include Miranda Hot Pools, Rainbows End theme park, Clevedon Animal Farm, Whitford Park Golf Club and Red Alert Paintball Games.

“Hunua Falls Camp provided a fantastic atmosphere for our seminars. The natural beauty surrounding us also provided an uplifting and relaxing environment. The facilities were excellent for our needs and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this camp site to any organisation.”

- Chantelle Brader, Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity

“Dear Camp Hunua, thank you so much for letting us use your camp. I liked how the dorms were cool and how they were connected. The confidence course was amazing, the jump was very cool. The field was great to play on because when it was down time we could play soccer and cricket. It was great that we had tent space.”

- James, student, Northcote Primary School

“Hunua Falls is a wonderful facility for our school choirs. We enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the facilities are very conducive to choral learning.”

- Moira Clarke, Westlake Girls High School.
